However, Luca, Poppy, Gale, Dahlia and Willow are not "real" main characters. Then the game is now Angry Birds POP!. In my opinion (take it as a pinch of salt) they might combine the characters into the original angry birds game. Now they are scrapping slowly, the Stella elements. The Stella game was discontinued, and go on with Angry Birds Stella POP!. (as in, who the hell would ever want to play "angry birds evolution) Especially something like Angry Birds Stella, which took away focus from the actual Angry Birds games, and while everyone was asking for an Angry Birds Stella update, along with requests for Angry Birds Space and other classics, they began spewing out more *another word for feces* like their 20 new games that I honestly don't care about.Īngry Birds Stella is just something that shows that Rovio has absolutely no eye for potential and what people actually like.

Honestly, if it comes to me, I think that Rovio is just too obsessed with the actual Angry Birds Series to ever let anything take focus away from it. But it brings up one question: What happened?

The fans (along with the entirely new fanbase) were happy. I was so gutted at how ready Rovio was to just get rid of the entire series, especially since there was so much potential. The plot and its execution was honestly just terrible and reminded me of the Toons cartoons. There was no actual plot, and it seemed like they just wanted to get it over with the whole time. They had so much material to work off of, but they just completely ruined it. At this point I just deleted the game.Īs for the animated series, no offense, but Season 2 absolutely SUCKED. Then they added unbelievable in-app purchases and loaded out effortless levels every single day, choosing to neglect the other games just so that they could take the easy route through this game. They removed absolutely all connections to Stella and the POP! game, removing all the characters and adding the typical Angry Birds face to it. The Toons series, especially, was so boring.īack on track, when they announced that it would be discontinued, they loaded out fake *additional word for feces* like "Oh, Stella and her friends will continue their adventures in the POP! game and the animated series!" I even liked them significantly better than the actual Angry Birds characters, as I found the original flock to be very plain, and when Rovio tried to add these "fun personalities" it just didn't work at all. I wasn't convinced that there would even be enough material to make an entire seires, but after the animated series I did eventually fall in love with each of the characters and their distinct personalities.

I really didn't expect it to be sucessful, but for some reason the fans fell in love with the characters, and fanart and support for the game began shooting out like crazy. While the game featured the same slingshot based gameplay, it was still its own indivisual game and it really had a spark to it.

It sounds really cheesy, but Angry Birds Stella was actually a really great game. A while back it was announced that the Stella series would be discontinued, which caused many fans to be extremely let down and saddened.
